Our Story

Bringing life back to a world too saturated in content, we’re here to remind you of that childhood wonder.

Husband and wife team- Conner and Sara Jane Clark on their wedding day, the day they decided to join forces and live out their dreams together.

Originating from Texas and Virginia, the tag team duo behind Bug & Bear Workshop first began as humble hobbyists. One with woodworking and the other with wire and paint crafts. The former providing expertise and support, while the latter spearheads the operation.

In late 2024 the Sara Jane Clark decided to refine her skills, but it would take till early 2025 that she would quit her day job to focus solely on her art. After selling out of earrings at her first show, it was more of a motivation to reach out her little audience. That was until summer of 2025, when they relocated from Houston, Texas to Salisbury, Maryland.

Now they are even more certain of the path they see. Trying to spread a little bit of handmade wonder where they can. Focusing on a wide array of products all handmade and locally sourced when possible. With projects planned for the future this is only the beginning of this humble little workshop.
